Community Litter Pick

VINCI Facilities have worked with the AmicusHorizon Group for a number of years and currently deliver various services to a number of local housing associations procured through the South East Consortium Framework, led by AmicusHorizon.

AmicusHorizon's new committee for the Tilling Green Residents Association (TGRA) organised their first event, a Community Litter Pick, which took place on Saturday 20th February 2010. Several residents, the local Brownies and Police Community Support Officer turned out in beautiful weather to walk the roads of Tilling Green to collect as much litter as they possibly could. The litter pick went so well that they filled two skips with rubbish!

In support of the event, VINCI Facilities donated high-vis yellow waistcoats for the children, first aid kits and litter pickers. VINCI Facilities Contracts Manager, Steve Patmore, also took part on the day.
