Summary of Role: leading the delivery of one our customer focused regional/work streams within the division, they will provide clear leadership and direction to the delivery teams ensuring that all works are completed safely to programme, budget and quality standards expected by the client in a professional and ethical manner adhering to commercial guidelines, established best practice, professional & company standards and that their teams service delivery is focused on achieving our Mission.

Main Duties:

· Ensure all supporting functions sustain operational management to maximise returns in terms of profit and service level.

· Identify, manage and reduce all unnecessary costs and inefficient activities – ensure business, contract & project risks are clearly identified and controlled.

· Promote the development of team members and actively encourage effective relationships.

· Ensure the requirements of the VINCI HSE policies are fully understood and implemented.

Quantity Surveyor

Summary of Role:

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or (Senior) Commercial Manager the key focus on the role is to carry out the commercial role on the project in line with VINCI processes and procedures to ensure the contractual and commercial position for VINCI is protected and financial performance is enhanced.

Main Duties:

· Develop a good understanding of the wider aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental law affecting a Facilities business.

· Have a full understanding and appreciation of the contract under which your project is operating and the risks and opportunities this presents.

· Understand and implement the requirements of VINCI Health Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and conduct all duties in a manner consistent with these.

· Develop a high level of competence in the application of IT skills to facilitate own role within VINCI Facilities.

CSCS: Appropriate level of CSCS Required

Summary of Role:

The role of Asset Manager is to manage all aspects relating to Life Cycle Asset Management and deliver compliant, Intelligent, cost effective solutions and reports in a professional and safe manner.

Interface with on-site facilities project teams, technology centre, specialist engineering resource & internal groups to delivering the operational requirements of the PFI contracts, Clients, SPV’s & Project Companies Work with internal teams, Clients to create additional value by demonstrating asset management capability & excellence within the VINCI Facilities organisation. Ensuring building life cycle asset management is embedded into day to day operations increasing the value of the VINCI Facilities offer to existing and new Customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Appreciation of buildings their composition & condition relevant to asset management
  • A track record of working in teams or in isolation and are a good communicator
  • The ability to challenge information and manipulate data
  • The ability to work at different levels within a project to ensure all targets are met
  • Ability to work in a client facing environment
  • Institute of Asset Management accreditation
  • Relevant technical accreditation

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 – 17:00

UK travel as required

Where visits to sites and client locations are required, this may entail additional and/or out of office hours and overnight stays.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Fabric or HVAC disciplines

• Develop and support junior team on projects.

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop a good understanding of the wider aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental law affecting a Facilities business.

• Have a full understanding and appreciation of the contract under which your project is operating and the risks and opportunities this presents.

• Understand and implement the requirements of VINCI Health Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and conduct all duties in a manner consistent with these.

• Develop a high level of competence in the application of IT skills to facilitate own role within VINCI Facilities.

• Develop a wider knowledge of business systems to manage and present business information.

• Use the CAFM platform to demonstrate our value to our clients.

• Have a clear understanding of the benefits and outputs available from our IT tools.

• Share best practice and knowledge of using the IT platforms with the wider Commercial/Project team.

• Actively seek to expand own knowledge base of VINCI Facilities working practices and industry as a whole and promote development of others.

• Identify, manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.

• Be an advocate for Lean management and encourage the operational and commercial teams to look for ways to improve our services and constantly improve.

• Identify, manage and continually demonstrate the value of our service to our clients through effective use of Management Information.

• Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.

• Develop high level of understanding of planning, programming and works order tracking to ensure accurate progress reporting

• Fully understand the project measures and performance criteria and influence the performance of our suppliers and teams against these metrics.

• Production of Timely accounts for use in managing the business.

• Production of accurate and timely financial forecasts for use in setting targets.

• Establish and maintain accurate and robust reporting structures and monitor resources and costs to ensure that projects meet and / or exceed targets.

CSCS: Must have CSCS card.

Qualifications: Minimum HNC or equivalent.

Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in the construction industry.
