At VINCI Facilities, we have embedded environmental improvement into our business model and ethos through instilling a strong culture of environmental awareness, ownership and sustainable management into all our operations.
We limit the environmental impact of our activities through developing, in partnership with our supply chain, innovative solutions in line with VINCI Group’s Environmental Ambition. We partner with our customers to influence sustainable choices to ensure that the places we live and work are compliant yet meet the needs of the future.
At VINCI Facilities we have strong governance processes and have maintained ISO 14001 for many years. Projects are supported by dedicated environmental and sustainability experts within the business who have vast knowledge and experience across a variety of sectors.
Our experts work collaboratively with our customers, the supply chain, and our internal management teams to develop and share best practice, encouraging accountability and continual environmental improvement. Project level accountability ensures that we and our customers operate in total compliance with all applicable legislative requirements.
Our culture of environmental responsibility not only results in a positive impact on business performance but also raises awareness of our need to respond to key environmental issues including the climate emergency, biodiversity loss and circularity while managing and reducing the impact of our activities.
In January 2020 VINCI SA publicised the aim of the worldwide business to remain acceptable and sustainable in the long term and launched its Environmental Ambition.
The Environmental Ambition is guided by three overarching environmental commitments.
On 22nd September 2020 we joined our colleagues around the world in celebrating VINCI Environment Day on which VINCI SA also launched their Environmental Awards.
In 2017 Blue Planet dramatically highlighted the imminent, unprecedented and irrevocable collapse in global biodiversity, and the significant threat to our land and marine environments posed by single use plastic.
As an environmentally and sociably responsible company VINCI Facilities has developed a Single Use Plastic Reduction Commitment.
As a responsible company we have embraced the aim to 'Empower Our Workforce to Become Single Use Plastic Free', focusing on the difference an individual can make and allowing our people to lead the change.
