Tokheim Solutions have delivered the great combination of digital tools and performance focussed behaviours to not only improve the day to day working life of their teams but also the customers estate. Establishing the Management Information that really matters they are able to embed both problem solving and continuous improvement mindsets in their team, leading to increased efficiencies, improved performance and enhanced estate.
Ward are the chosen Winner of this category due to their first class approach and support to the VINCI Facilities LocatED team in the mobilisation phase and delivery of this new contract. Ward adopted the security of LocatED’s estate prior to the official contract start date as a result of their collaborative approach with the VINCI team. They ran the helpdesk and despite the number of calls being far in excess of the anticipated numbers, they acted as the face of VINCI in a professional and efficient manner.
Project: Apprenticeship programme
Dale have shown how well apprentice schemes can work especially in areas where the economic and social conditions are difficult. They have achieved numerous recognition awards and it is fabulous to see their promotion of women in engineering. Over the past few years, Dale’s have demonstrated a consistent approach to engaging with their people and the community in a fair and inclusive way and are paving the future with an award winning apprenticeship programme.
Successful innovations are the combination of data and insight; we were impressed with how a practical solution has been applied in – what is effectively – a retail environment. In addition to significant cost savings, their submission identified tangible environmental and social benefits.
Project: Lincolnshire county council MTC for reactive and maintenance services.
The Selmec team have truly embraced VINCI’s value of discipline in their support of the Lincoln County Council contract. From aligning their processes strategically with VINCI to ensure robust & reliable services are provided twenty four hours per day, every day of the year, to recruiting eight apprentices, embedding all of VINCI’s values to ensure continued development of safe & efficient service delivery supporting both the individual in addition to enhancing the end user experience.
TSG have taken the safety stop to the next level and have introduced a safety focus month, Safetember. They focus on a different H&S matter each week and include wellness as well as health issues, engaging their people to put their own and others health and safety first.
Project: Dixons Carphone & Oasis Academy
I was impressed with the way Green Man work; in true partnership, delivering an outstanding, quality service to VINCI Facilities and our DixonsCarphone client. They use their expertise to minimise the cost to the client, regularly remotely supporting our MRTs to solve problems rather than undertake the work themselves.
