Enhancing longevity, functionality, sustainability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Building Solutions is an expert in the refurbishment and remodelling of buildings, having delivered thousands of projects nationwide across multiple sectors, for customers including the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Ministry of Justice, Royal Mail, Metropolitan Police, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Our works include the specialist restoration of heritage assets, including Grade I and II listed buildings such as Old Palace Yard, Cardiff Crown Court, and the Royal School of Military Engineering headquarters.
We understand the relevant standards and technical specifications, including Health Building Notes and Health Technical Memoranda when working in hospitals, as well as Estates Directorate Technical Standards, Design Guidance, and Core Requirements for secure estates.
A recent flagship refurbishment project saw our team complete a £4.2 million modernisation of the Institution of Civil Engineers’ headquarters, a 1913 Grade II-listed building in London. We installed modern technologies that enhance functionality, sustainability, safety, and compliance, while also carrying out restoration works to protect the building’s architectural heritage. Following 19 weeks on site, all works were delivered on time and on budget, leading to the customer awarding Building Solutions the maximum score in a customer satisfaction survey.
