MANAGING DIRECTOR'S COMMITMENT

COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING OUR PEOPLE AND ENSURING A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

What is your vision for the company in the next five years?

Two things: Firstly, the delivery of the fundamentals — expert, innovative, and skilled services to and within the built environment. Secondly, alignment with our stakeholders — our people, customers, supply chain, community, and our parent company. We cannot achieve one without the other.

A few years ago, we set out to become the ‘leading and trusted expert’ in the operation and adaptation of the built environment, with the mission to create and maintain great places to live and work. We are well underway on this journey.

How is the business addressing sustainability and Net Zero in its operations and services?

I am proud that we have retained our SFMI (Sustainable Facilities Management Index) Platinum status, which places us at the forefront of UK FM companies for both our commitment and contribution to sustainable property management. This independent and prestigious recognition hasn’t happened by accident. For years, we have been experimenting with and testing new approaches to greener, more environmentally appropriate ways of delivering our business. We are now making ‘natural capital’ a key goal alongside Net Zero, with many new services being designed and delivered with sustainability and Net Zero at their heart.

What role does data and digitalisation play in driving operational improvements?

The quality and range of data underpin everything we do, but this requires high-performing systems. This year, we are launching the latest and most advanced Enterprise Resource Platforms from SAP to support our financial, commercial, HR, and order-management processes, enabling real-time data and faster decision-making.

We are also rolling out the latest Maximo Application Suite (MAS), our asset management platform, which will revolutionise mobile asset capture, work scheduling, supplier integration, insight reporting, and all aspects of project financial management.

How are you supporting your people's wellbeing, development, and engagement?

Creating a sense of belonging is something I am passionate about. We have around 60 Wellbeing Ambassadors representing 2,700 staff, and we are making significant progress towards achieving ISO 45003 accreditation, the first global standard for managing psychological health. We recently launched new Inclusive Leadership and Active Bystander programmes aimed at empowering all employees to enhance their skills in supporting the wellbeing of our people.

What personal values guide your leadership of the business?

My beliefs and principles are reflected in the core values of VINCI Facilities: Excellence, Discipline, Collaboration, Innovation, and Integrity. It is my role not only to live by these values personally but also to promote, encourage, and measure our performance as a business against each and every one of them.
